Location: Our team have the option to work 60% of the time on-site, 40% at home. Our office is based in Central London (WC1B).
Contract type: 12 month fixed-term employment contract.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Role Purpose:
United for Wildlife’s business taskforces comprise over 300 private sector organisations who use their resources and networks to identify, report and disrupt threats to wildlife. By forming partnerships with businesses in these sectors, we are bringing new voices and context to the conservation discussion.
The Royal Foundation is seeking an exceptional Delivery Manager (Private Sector Engagement) to play a key role in coordinating and delivering strategic projects that support United for Wildlife’s business taskforces.
Working closely with colleagues across the programme, this is an exciting and vital role to support the delivery of our private sector engagement to drive positive outcomes for nature and wildlife. Specifically, the role will act as the project manager of the steering group for the business taskforces and manage member engagement.
They will be based within the core United for Wildlife (UfW) team, but will work closely with other Foundation teams, Kensington Palace, and external delivery partners.
The role will be varied and wide-ranging, working with other project team members to determine project needs and key deliverables.
Core responsibilities:
· Managing the Secretariat functions of the business taskforces, including preparation for steering committee and leadership meetings, papers, agendas, meeting notes and follow-up.
· Managing engagement with corporate members, including member communications, updates, planning member meetings.
· Maintain and update UfW member databases for all UfW members, stakeholders and partnerships.
· Supporting business leaders and the TRF team to develop clear and deliverable strategic plans for the UfW business taskforces and assist in the implementation of the team’s strategic objectives.
· Supporting groups of UfW business taskforce members to manage delivery of strategic projects, and thematic working groups identified by the business members.
General responsibilities will include:
· Establishing and overseeing the project management processes required to ensure effective delivery of projects within specific strategic areas for the business taskforces.
· Build and maintain relationships with appropriate internal and external stakeholders, and support the day-to-day management of the stakeholder ecosystem.
· Monitoring and reporting on delivery of specific projects against agreed timelines, ensuring risks, assumptions, dependencies, and actions are identified, tracked, and resolved.
· Chairing key programme update meetings, working with senior colleagues on agendas and ensuring actions and captured and carried out.
· Assist in soliciting and compiling data/inputs for routine narrative and impact reporting internally and externally together with the wider team.
· Promoting a strong partnership/team ethos and collaborative ways of working both within the programme team and wider United for Wildlife membership.
· Undertaking other duties that may, from time to time, be necessary and compatible with the nature and level of this post.
· Playing an active broader role in the programme team, working collaboratively to offer ideas on strategy and operational design.
Relevant knowledge, experience and personal qualities:
Knowledge & Experience:
· Understanding and knowledge of environmental sustainability in private sector contexts (essential).
· Comfortable engaging with senior business people and stakeholders (essential).
· Comfortable working across levels of implementation from drafting strategic materials to accurate data input (essential).
· Knowledge and experience of project management, being directly responsible for the delivery of substantive projects (essential).
· Previous experience of working in a fast-paced delivery environment and/or on a complex project (essential).
· Experience of budget management (essential).
· Highly competent user of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook (essential).
· Experience of successfully dealing with stakeholders at different levels (essential).
· Experience with a project management tooling such as Monday.com, MS Project, Smartsheet, Trello, Salesforce (desirable).
